Well, our summer performance schedule is behind us and we have many great memories! A very special THANKS to the following people who helped to make this season so wonderful.

Dave King...thanks for drumming along with us on several of our performances! Your talents are appreciated!
Bill Rowley....thanks for coming to our rescue and letting us use the Senior High School Music trailer to haul our equipment! It was wonderful that you even volunteered to drive the equipment for us and hang out with us during our performance!
Steph King...thanks for taking over the Bass Pans and for organizing the equipment for our National Night Out Performance! It's great having someone you can count on!!
Pan Parents/Supporters...we could NOT do this without YOU! Having so many parents always at our performances to help move equipment and listen to us play is wonderful and we can not thank YOU enough!
Prescott School/Chris McCarron, Custodian Staff...thank you for letting us use the Prescott building for the 8th year in a row for our summer program! It's a wonderful facility and we appreciate your willingness to share it with us!

Meet Pandemonium Steel Drum Ensemble
In October of 2009, Pandemonium was formed as a part of the Colts Youth Organization. It is an off-shoot of the pan program offered at Prescott School but not affiliated with any one school.
Any area student in grades 6-12 is eligible to participate and previous experience is not necessary but having taken any music lessons is helpful.
Pandemonium has performed in and around the tri-state area having played at a variety of events and venues. In 2010, Pandemonium was chosen to perform and present a master class to teachers from all across the country at the National Expeditionary Learning Conference in Kansas City, MO.
What is a Steel Drum?
The Steel Drum, or Pan, is a unique instrument, and one of most recently invented. It is a skillfully hammered 55 gallon oil drum which has been carefully tuned to produce tones.
The Steel Drum carries the full chromatic range of notes and can produce just about any type of music you can think of!
These instruments are often associated with Calypso type music.
